If you like builds that don't ask you to stand still and eat every hit, Touch of Death Spiritborn is easy to warm to. It plays more like a hit-and-run poison setup than a face-tank brawler. You step in, tag the pack, move out, and let the damage tick while you look for the next safe angle. That makes it a strong pick for players farming Diablo 4 Items, pushing Nightmare Dungeons, or grinding through Pit tiers where one lazy dodge can ruin the run.
Why the poison loop feels so good
Touch of Death is the skill that carries the build. It puts real pressure on elites and bosses because the poison keeps working even when you're moving away. That's the whole point. You don't need to plant your feet and swing until something dies. Venom Surge helps a lot when mobs are stacked together, since it spreads poison through the group and turns tight rooms into quick clears. Once Toxic Bloom starts popping, the screen can empty faster than you'd expect. It's not pure burst in the usual sense, but it doesn't feel slow either.

Movement is part of the damage
Spirit Dash isn't just there to save you when things get ugly, though it does that well. It lets you control the fight. You can tag enemies, slide past ground effects, dodge a nasty elite affix, then come back in before your poison window falls off. Soul Harvest keeps the build from feeling starved and gives you a bit more staying power when the dungeon gets cramped. You'll quickly notice that the bad runs usually happen when you get greedy. If you hang around in melee for one extra second, Diablo 4 has a way of making you pay for it.

Stats and gear that actually matter
For damage, you want Poison Damage, Damage Over Time, Critical Strike Chance, Vulnerable Damage, and anything that helps you apply effects more often. Cooldown Reduction and Spirit Cost Reduction are also worth chasing because they make the rotation feel less stiff. Fast weapons tend to suit this build better than slow, heavy ones. Big hits look nice on paper, but smoother poison application matters more when you're dashing, repositioning, and trying to keep pressure up. On the defensive side, don't skip movement-based damage reduction, dodge chance, resistance rolls, Fortify support, or barriers. A little toughness goes a long way here.

How to play it without overthinking
A clean pull usually starts with Venom Surge, then Touch of Death on the priority target or the middle of the pack. Dash out, let the poison work, and trigger Toxic Bloom when enemies are bunched up enough to make it count. Keep Soul Harvest running whenever you can, but don't force it if the floor is covered in danger. The build rewards calm movement more than button mashing. If you're gearing up, testing affixes, or looking to buy cheap Diablo IV Items for a smoother Season 13 push, Touch of Death Spiritborn is a practical choice that still feels sharp and fun after many runs.
